Chicken Alfredo Lasagna with Spinach and Garlic

This creamy Chicken Alfredo Lasagna with spinach and garlic combines tender chicken, fresh spinach, and rich Alfredo sauce layered between pasta sheets for a comforting Italian-inspired meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 3 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add cooked chicken, chopped spinach, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until spinach is wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Place 3 noodles on the sauce. Layer with one-third of the chicken-spinach mixture, a third of the remaining Alfredo sauce, and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  6. Repeat layers twice more, ending with cheese on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For added richness, sprinkle some freshly chopped basil or parsley on top before serving, or serve with a crisp green salad on the side.
